Week in Photos: Happy moments...

On Sunday, March 3rd, my niece Natalia turned 4 months old. She tends to give everyone a happy, wicked look with those big round eyes. I call her my "ham sandwich" because she loves it when we take pictures of her, and she's looks good enough to eat! I love this picture of her modeling a headband with a fashionably big blue daisy.

On Tuesday, March 5th, my boss brought her BFF Yorkie to visit the office. This girl is a great little thing... the best! I snapped this picture as she made herself comfortable on top of my desk and modeled for me.

And today was supposed to be our big snow day! But, although Wednesday and Thursday were both really cold and windy, the snow storm warning for our area of New Jersey turned out to be "much ado about nothing." Before leaving for work this morning, I snapped these two pictures from my second floor front window. The Catholic convent's yard looks peaceful and pretty with a dusting of snow, doesn't it? I love the lack of color in both pictures. :)

Happy weekend, everyone!

  2. Ooooh, I love chubby babies!

That snow-dusting picture of the convent looks like something out of a romance novel - except, you know, it's a convent. Maybe a historical romance where the heroine was raised in a convent to protect her from some nasty, money-grubbing relatives? LOL

  3. She is soooo cute, Hils!! LOL, those chubby cheeks! Don't you just want to pinch them? :P I think she looks a lot like your SIL. Or perhaps Alex, can't decide LOL.

Cute dog and pretty pictures of snow. Hope it stops soon though. I'm ready for spring.

  4. Alex - I'm so glad you enjoyed the pictures!

Wendy, isn't Nat a cutie pie? And, I love that those photographs of the convent's patio worked on your imagination. I should have posted a picture of the convent itself. Maybe I will! It's made out of the same beautiful stones as the wall that surrounds it. Very gothic looking. :D

Nath, we all say the baby looks like Alex when he was a baby! But, we'll have to see what happens when she grows a bit more.

We had a couple of gorgeous Spring-like days after that snow. I hope that was the last hurrah from the Winter season. :D

  5. Awwww sweet photos of Natalia and your boss' Yorkie!
The snow was super pretty for several hours there on Friday, wasn't it? Practically all gone in 24 hours, but that's okay. I'm ready for spring now. :)

    LOL, Wendy!
