Let me know if you need to borrow it, anyway... and definitely let me know what you think. :)Hilciahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17765831808358693421noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1444239480570451270.post-62933330817977926162010-04-04T17:30:19.085-04:002010-04-04T17:30:19.085-04:00I'm so glad you decided to review this book af...I'm so glad you decided to review this book after you mentioned it at our get together last weekend. I was actually thinking of asking you to borrow it the next time we meet, but I just checked and my library has it! So it's now on my library loot list. I just have to read and return some of the ones I already have out.

Thanks for the recommendation. I'm looking forward to this one.Christinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00420773211895134710noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1444239480570451270.post-51713129870446933232010-04-04T09:16:48.519-04:002010-04-04T09:16:48.519-04:00Nath, I enjoyed this book both times, but it's...Nath, I enjoyed this book both times, but it's not a funny book. Its just that it deals with all those subjects I mentioned with wit and humourous situations.

Leslie, funny that you should mention "steel magnolias". I just checked and noticed that my last "edit" didn't take (having problems with blogger/internet). I had a line in there. "The women in this book make the "steel magnolias" look like "daisies." LOL! As I said above, this is NOT a funny book... it has that subtle southern humour I appreciate, but the subject matter is a heavy one. I personally enjoyed the way it was written.

Orannia, yes... this book felt different when I read it the first time. There are a lot of gray areas to deal with.. rights & wrongs, truths & lies, etc... interesting. :)Hilciahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17765831808358693421noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1444239480570451270.post-28253785238406673022010-04-04T04:29:20.650-04:002010-04-04T04:29:20.650-04:00That does sound interesting...and different. For some reason it reminds me (although the plot is completely different) of a book called The Second Coming of Lucy Hatch by Marsha Moyer, which is one amazing book IMO!

Thank you Hils!oranniahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14007355589161084262noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1444239480570451270.post-80334255124835515182010-04-03T15:42:48.668-04:002010-04-03T15:42:48.668-04:00Oh, this does sound good. Maybe southern humor like in Steel Magnolias?Lesliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12055116610295076439noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1444239480570451270.post-87089506861124296662010-04-03T12:38:30.422-04:002010-04-03T12:38:30.422-04:00Sounds like something different, Hils :D Is this v...Sounds like something different, Hils :D Is this very funny?
